Longing for Summer

Yesterday marked the first snowfall of the season.  The snow is beautiful, it clears out the air, makes everything cleaner and even makes things quieter.  Nevertheless, it's cold.  Joint-achingly cold.  This weekend will have higher temps.  I had such a wonderful summer.  On May 30th Mike and I were married, the following week we went to Miami.  We have been camping in Capital Reef and Ouray, Colorado.  We visited DC and Maryland.  This summer was a fantastic one.  Please stay tuned for some pictures from our summer.  In memory of warmer days: (a few pics from Ouray, Colorado)

Brief (very brief) History

Quick history:
They met in SLC approx Spring '08. Having only discussed playing tennis, they remained acquaintances. At a New Year's Eve party he finally asked her out.

First date: Jan 3rd 2009
Location: Red Iguana Restaurant
Topics discussed: family, personal histories, and anything else to make one another look good
After dinner event: Mexican hot cocoa as per Liz's suggestion
Topics discussed: books & similar interests

2nd date: Cabella's & Wendy's
(visit: www.cabelas.com). Nothing says "ROMANCE" like taxidermy and fast food. They both ordered the #6.

3rd date: 1st kiss following bowling. Liz won. The bowling alley was greasy, the kiss was not.

Engaged: March 9th, 2009. Snowy Monday evening.
